Dear Kay, Mike, Art and all,

I think this was Randy's point. The cowries wouldn't be very useful
except as currency and to avoid taxes.

But the NUMBERS of cowries? Are there really beaches lined with
windrows of cowries? Or -- should I ask -- WERE there such beaches?
Sigh.
