Here are my observations on range of these species with respect to the
Tampa Bay area (where I, too, live):
 
Hexaplex fulvescens, found here only in deep water (I've seen it off a
wreck in 100') Found intertidally (sometimes) in Jacksonville.
Chicoreus florifer dilectus, Common here at most depths. Often on the
beach, in oyster bars, just about always on offshore reefs.
Favartia cellulosa, Fairly common here intertidally and deeper. Often
inside dead clamshells on grass flats exposed at low tide.
Purpura patula, On wave-washed ironshore rock (which we don't have here) in
the Keys and south (actually, I haven't found it in the Keys but have found
it in the Bahamas)
Natica canrena, Only at scuba depth here, I think. Very common throughout
the Caribbean.
Neritina reclivata, A brackish water species, found a little way upriver
from the salt water. I have it from both coasts of Florida.
Trivia pediculus, Found at scuba depth here. Likes rocky areas, which
aren't around intertidally in Tampa area.
Crucibulum auricula, Dredged here but I haven't found it personally in the
area. Pretty common in southern Caribbean.
Hipponix antiquatus, Don't know if it's in the area. Common in the Keys and
south.
Architectonica nobilis, Dredged (I think) in the Gulf and for sure Atlantic
Florida and south. One of the few species found on both coasts of South
America.
Calliostoma adelae, Fairly common in the Keys but I don't think I've found
it here.
Calliostoma jujubinum, Intertidal grass flats to offshore reefs in the
area. Also a "subspecies", tampaensis.
