Hello,

This request is for those collectors actively interested in and collecting the genus
Strombus. I'm seeking detailed locality and collection data for specimens of the following
species for a research project I'm working on:

Strombus (Dolomena) kleckhamae kleckhamae Cernohorsky, W.O., 1971

Strombus (Dolomena) kleckhamae boholensis Mühlhäusser, H., 1981

In particular, I'm looking for specific locality information within and, potentially, outside of
the typical ranges as reported in the literature. As for collection data, I'm interested in depth
of water, type of substrate, method of collection, and whether specimens were collected live or
dead. I'm also interested in studying features of the actual shells. If you happen to have an
additional example of Strombus kleckamae boholensis that you might consider donating for my study,
it would be greatly appreciated. However, quality digital images will make a perfect substitute
for the actual shells. Getting actual shells of the nominate subspecies will be all but
impossible. Photos of that species will be greatly appreciated. I will not need dozens of shells
to study, but would appreciate locality and collection data for all shells that you have. Please
also include your name, location, and the catalog number for each specimen. My interest is
sincere and any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and I hope
to hear from you soon. :)

Sincerely,
Tim Blackwood
