I'll third the vote for FMP. We use it to manage our collection of nearly a
million specimens. It tracks loans, prints reports, makes labels, and is
very easy to use. You can also post the database to the web with a more
expensive version. We've received a lot of grief from some folks (NSF for
example) for not using a "more powerful" package, but hey, it works and I
don't see what additional "power" I need.
