Dear Harry,

Aha! I had done a search on google but had not found that page, which has also given me the name of the Cactus snail, Rabdotus dealbatus and the Planorbella species I'd found on the same trip. I see that the Physa is unnamed (or undetermined). And Helicina orbiculata, found dead in great profusion all over the ground, is confirmed.

The eland on that same page was probably on the ranch just across the road from where I stayed in Kerr County.

I never saw a shell with 3 specific names. Can you tell me about that usage?
