Do not forget museums that have departments devoted to
ethnology!  Shells as ornaments, tools, money... might
welcome certain shells for their research and
displays.

Biodiversity is a hot topic now.  Educational
departments in natural history museums may welcome an
interesting assortment for use in a display or
loan-to-schools use.
