One of the best beaches I've found to collect good quality shells is on St.
Lucia
in the Caribbean. Its the beach on the causeway to pigeon island on the
northern end
of St Lucia. The shells wash out of the sand as the waves hit the island
because
Pigeon island is manmade from the dredgings from Rodney Bay,so the shells on
the beach never really had to get dragged and tossed there.thats why they are
in such good condition
