It's taken half a year to get this far, but there are cowry-

There will most probably be a hiatus in postings as I am changing
jobs and have hit the (non-paying) limit of the second area being
used for Archive material. (I'm already paying a monthly fee for
the 'base' site area.)
 
Let me also say that these postings are merely a transcription to
electronic format of the colossal work done by the people who
created the original publications. The images in the on-line items
cannot reproduce the quality of the originals without requiring much,
MUCH more disk space.
 
And, as a parting shot, I can see that nearly as much -- and, maybe,
more -- information is in the HAWAIIAN SHELL NEWS concerning cones.
AND, these two subjects represent less than half of all the items
to be found in the 'NEWS. So, when I said colossal, I meant
MONUMENTAL work done by people dedicated to shells and shelling.
Give them their due, they've earned it.
