Dear Tom, et al;-
I'm glad you got your P africanum at a decent price. This again
goes back to the experience of coin collectors. Remember all those
blue books with slots for coins? Most of us could never afford pure
gem, uncirculated, never been to the supermarket coins. What we did
was get the best we could find to hold the date. We called them "slot-
holders". We do the same with shells----those of us with "Millionaire
appatites" and "Welfare incomes" scan around for place-holders. Later
on, after we win the lottery or Auntie Maude passes on, we plan to
replace the place-holders. Maybe we never do---but so what!
