As an example, I understand that Smithsonian's NMNH volunteer and turrid
specialist Dr. Donn Tippett (who is also a good friend) has donated his
large collection of western Atlantic turrids to that institution and is now
cataloging the lots into their system; this is not a small feat, given the
intricacies of the computer program they use.
