Greetings,

In Abbott's American Seashells he lists the northern range of Pteropurpura
festiva as Morro Bay. I would like to find out what material he used to
determine the northern limit. Did he use material deposited in one or
several museums? I'd like to track down the specimen(s) he used for P.
festiva.

If you have any specific information, please respond to me directly.
Thanks in advance!
Steve
