When a listserve becomes so congested that arguments break out because of
the sheer bulk of the mailings, then it is time to split the listserve into
smaller units.
 
Is this possible, Amy?
 
Is this what the subscribers wish?  Or are we ready to stop bickering over
off-topic postings by putting off-topic postings on the listserve?
 
You want to attract younger shell collectors.  Do you think jumping on them
about an inappropriate topic is going to encourage their participation or
put them off shell collecting all together?
