More on pine oil. It's great and I have used it on trips. I have
found that one doesn't even need full strength, but even just
pine-sol and the like works. If you have full strength, especially
I have also found that you need a very, very little to be effective
even on a large shell. And, with smaller ones, beware too much
pine oil with opercula you are trying to save. Either they melt
or get lost - I don't know. But I never use it any more with tiny
cones, terebras, and the like.
