Hello Oliva enthusiasts!

What is the species of the dark brown Oliva that is found in the Gulf of
Mexico? I have heard it called O. pattersonii. Is this part of the
"fulgurator-reticularis" group? I have, so far, only found three, the
latest (found today among the last of the Gulf scallops that will be fished
this year) being the best--almost a solid dark brown.

Best regards,
Jim
