John Q. Burch was a well-known natural history bookseller in Los Angeles and
editor of the Minutes of the Conchological Society of Southern California.
Son, Dr. Tom Burch is still a (I believe) co-editor of the Hawaiian Shell

Speaking of John B. Burch...isn't he the founder of the Burch Aquaruim in
Scripps San Diego CA...anyone know if that is true or not...
