Henk K. Mienis   [  [log in to unmask]  ] requests information on how
far Otala have progressed in North America introductions.  He has had a
specimen from Dr. Harry Lee from Florida to study.  O. lactea and O.
punctata were illustrated in Abbott's "Compendium of Landsnails" and are
the two European species.
 
Henk woul like information with locality data.  Please note the lip
color as it is diagnostic.  Actual specimens are also desired if
possible, and exchanges for Middle East landsnails can be made.
