I am appealing to anyone who may have an old subscription to the
Pittsburgh Shell Club Bulletin. I am trying to find out if the Vol. 13
issue was ever published or distributed. I have found copies of Vol. 1 to
12, the last being printed in 1977. I have checked the library at the
Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, as well as several libraries at other
museums. None have a Vol. 13 in their series.
The reason for wanting to know this information...wondering when I was to
get around to it weren't you?...is to see if an article by Jose Parodiz,
curator emeritus at the Carnegie was ever published. He wrote an article
about collecting around the Yucatan Peninsula with a checklist of what he
collected. He recalls "publishing" it in the PSCB. It would have been in
Vol. 13. While I have a copy of the article (manuscript) I am trying to
see if it was ever actually brought out in print.
If anyone has the issue, please let me know. Thanks.
Charlie
