Dentiscala nesiotica Dall, 1917
Epitonium nesioticum Dall & Ochsner, 1928
In a footnote in the latter paper, the editor states that both of the
authors are deceased [Dall died in 1927] and that the manuscript was
completed by G. D. Hanna. So perhaps the confusion was not Dall's. Or
perhaps it was--toward the end of his life he was forgetful--he named the
species Puncturella hendersoni twice in 1927 in different papers (they are
synonyms and homonyms, based on different type specimens).
