According Ponder, Review of genera of Rissoidae

Pseudotaphrus Cossmann, 1888
type species by original designation Bulimus buccinalis Lamarck, 1804
Cossmannia Newton, 1891
type species by original designation Rissoina expansa Desayes, 1861
Liocium Gabb, 1869 may be an earlier name for this genus
Lapsigyrus Berry, 1958
Type species by original designation Alvania contrerasi Jordan, 1936
(= Alaba mutans Carpenter, 1857)
are all rissoid of the subfamily Rissoininae
Mohrensternia Stoliczka, 1868
type species Rissoa angulata Eichwald, 1830
by subsequent designation by Nevill, 1885
may be an hydrobiid although Pchelintsev & Korobkov, 1960 have proposed
a new separate subfamily for this genus
