Well, I'm not sure what the geographic limits of that list are, but I always
thought that T. solandri reached as far north as southern California.
Abbott, in American Seashells, is quite specific about the northern limit of
the range - Palos Verdes, California to Peru. A similar but smaller species
native to that area is T. californiana (Gray, 1827).
