Andrew K. Rindsberg,
In your listing of fossil species, do you recall any xenophora? I am
kind of interested in this family, both recent and ancient. At present I
have about 15 recent species (plus 2 subspecies and a couple of named
species that are synonyms according to Ponder) and two fossil species;
one is a fossil X. conchliophora and three are X. floridana. I am
expecting another fossil species in the near future from John Bernard of
Shelloak - but no name yet. All of these are from Florida (Sarasota) and
I would like to add those found in Alabama to the list - if possible.
Thanks for any information,
