Dear Conch-lers,
I have noticed that the majority of specimens of Neptunea amianta (Dall,
1890) that I have received have extreme erosion of the tip of the spire.
Some specimens even have a flat spire (a few whorls missing). I was
wondering if this was typical of this species. I do not have access to
literature on this species, and was hoping that someone out there would.
Thanks in advance- Aaron
