Cassis madagascariensis spinella also occurs in the Bahamas. On Chub Cay we
found both C. madagascariensis and C. madagascariensis spinella (on different
sides of the island), and also C. tuberosa and C. flammea -- great place for
helmet fans!

Tom,
We get Cassis madagascariensis spinella off Alabama. It is not common,
but
not rare either.
