so you only can see that some of common names are not worth. In the compendium
by Tucker the used common name is Armenian Cowry.

The reference may be to the apricot, Prunus armeniaca, the color of which
is reminiscent of the captioned cowrie. Sir Joseph surely didn't think his
mollusk originated in Armenia.
