Greetings Peter and James,
You can also use a different color of ink...no need for the glaring black on
white spot. Vermillion or Chinese red has been used traditionally. Seems to
be a rather stable colored ink.
James if you want more info on numbering, numbering systems, etc., let me
know. Will be happy to give you my opinions and methods to consider.
