Don't get a lens with a fixed F-stop, especially if the F-stop is 2.5. To
get a better field of view, you will need a smaller aperture of at least f
11. My best shots were done at F 16 to F 22. Your images will be out of focus
if the F-stop is any larger than F 11.
I also like using regular hot lamps rather than flash. I guess this is just a
personal preference because I like to manipulate the lighting so I can get
better contrast on the details of the sculpture. It's a lot easier to do this
with lamps than it is with flash.
