Hello all,
For a patron in my library, I need to find some generic names for shells
in French and German. Hope some of you can help me out here!
Here they are :
Mysella bidentata : french name?
Angula fabula : french name?
Spisula elliptica : french & german name? Elliptische Trogmuschel
the German names are not scientific, but only common names. For the first
two shells I don't have German names.
and the inner shield of Sepia officinalis, which can easily be found on
beaches : german name? Gemeine Tintenfisch-Schulpe
Helmut
Hopefully yours,
Jan
