OOps! Sorry everyone, I didn't put the URL in the message. It's:
www.icshells.com <http://www.icshells.com/> (main site)
and
www.icshells.com/ammonites <http://www.icshells.com/ammonites> (the
new ammonite section)
Nancy
What is the webiste address. I have a small ammonite from Alberta, but
would like to view
this site.

Dear Carol
For identification of ammonites I think an accurate locality and
stratigraphic position of the specimens is needed! The ammonites on your
website don't have accurate localities [Germany for instance is not very
accurate] and information of the stratigraphic position lackes totally! You
need a startigraphic layer from which the fossil was found and a
chronostratigraphic position like at least Jura or Cretaceous to do a
succesfull determination of the species. Your images are quite pretty!
