The Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology volume on gastropods illustrates the Mesozoic pleurotomariid genera fairly well; unfortunately, my copy is packed up. If I recall correctly, Pleurotomaria s.s. is Cretaceous. You should be able to tell if it had a selenizone by examining the growth lines. I cannot tell from the photo. The selenizone is a structural weak area, so fossil pleurotomariids frequently have the apertural region broken off.
