A shell initself cannot tell you whether the animal was albinistic; a
normally-pigmented animal can produce an unpigmented shell, which
will by default be white (unless it's a micro, in which case it will
be transparent & colorless). such a white shell is NOT albinistic.
Albinistic molluscs do occur however, and the shells will not
necessarily be unpigmented!
