My primary objection to the timing of this auction is that it is
scheduled for the day of the COA annual meeting and also will conflict
with the programs for that day. A lot of members work very hard for a
long time on putting the convention together. And they are volunteers.
You couldn't afford to pay for the number of hours put in. And the
people who present programs should have the opportunity to do so to the
most people. They also put in a lot of time and effort. If Mr. Paul
had scheduled his auction for Friday he wouldn't conflict with the COA
schedule.
