Iphinoe Rafinesque, 1815, an arachnid is senior to Iphinoe Adams and
Adams, 1854. Neoiphinoe Habe, 1978 is an available replacement name
for the snail.
Iphinoe Bate, 1856, the crustacean, is junior to both of those.
Iphinoe Spaeth, 1898, a beetle, is the most recent homonym listed
here.
Ironically, both Iphinoe Rafinesque and Iphinoe Bate are replacement
names for homonyms.
