well, for anybody in the area, I was at the Lighthouse today and
wound up having to sprint back to feed the meters two more times
after my initial payment. In four hours the small shells and minis
were superb. The only big shells on the beach were Dosinias and Pen
Shells, but I don't know about from other locations at Sanibel. If
you like bubble shells and wentletraps, today was your day, but all
the classic small species were present. I found a superb dwarf arrow
triton. The shelling in general was definitely better since strong
NW winds starting overnight on Friday. Today was the first day I had
spent on Sanibel this trip. The area with the minis is on the east
side of the lighthouse.
