Dear Mark,
the same as with the larger shells. Self collected, material from tradings, eg., each lot will get its own number
maybe
1999 / 0001
Fam. Vertiginidae
Truncatellina cylindrica (Ferussac, 1807)
A-Nordtirol, Schloss Ambras, S Innsbruck, Park des Schlosses,
an Mauern unter Efeu, leg. Helmut Nisters, 23. 3. 1999, 22 specimens
1999 / 0002
Vertiginidae
Vertigo pygmaea
the same location as before, same date, 12 specimens
and so on, later findings maybe
1999 / 0325
Truncatellina cylindrica
A- Nordtirol, Schloss Ambras, S Innsbruck, Park des Schlosses,
an Mauern unter Efeu, leg. Helmut Nisters, 13. 07. 1999, 8 spec.
1999 / 0362
Fam. Vertiginidae
Vertigo pygmaea, ...................................,
leg. Helmut Nisters, 13. 7. 1999, 2 specimens
1999 / 0363
Fam. Buliminidae
Ena montana (Draparnaud, 1801)
A-Schloss Ambras, S Innsbruck,. Park, under vegetation,
leg. Helmut Nisters, 13. 07. 1999, 4 spec.
these are the numbers for each lot. A lot consists from 1 - xxxx specimens, only from the same locality and date of collecting.
If I go collecting on other days, but also at the same locality to
confirm my findings or to have more material, these lots will get
a new number. All the different species of different families have
a own systematical number, so I can put all in systematical order
in my database and recall them. So I have the right systematical
position of the species too.
hope this is clear
Helmut
