Yesterday, I went to Li Ming's Global Mart for a couple of food items. Posted in the entrance and again in front of the seafood section was a sign for "Geoduck $16.99/pound."

I asked the seafood staff about the gooey-ducks. The first two people thought I was asking about the live crabs. Then the third, more experienced guy told me there weren't any..."maybe on Friday." I asked how many pounds each clam weighs. He told me, "about three or four pounds."

I kind of doubt I'll spring for these. What are the prices for geoduck on the West Coast (almost certainly where they will arrive from)?

What are typical weights?
