Hi:
I just made a quick trip out to the Michigan State
University library. Was pleasantly surprised at
how many books about shells I found! Have a copy
of the COmpendium of Seashells. Is this
considered a reliable book for identification?
Also, wanted to share a delightful experience with
you. I made arrangements to buy a gallon of
shells from Sanibel Seashell Industries in
Florida. The person taking the call left a
message that I needed some of the shells for my
hermit crabs. The brother of that person emailed
me to let me know that what I had ordered would
not be suitable. Another phone call is getting me
$13 worth of hermie shells and $10 sample
collection of the lower priced shells. Their good
customer service (wanting to make sure I knew what
I had ordered saved me from a mistake! Needless
to say, they will get my business in the future
too.
