Just a note on how to get a sound out of a shell trumpet. You do not blow
like you would a bubble. You put your lips together inward and actually make
the sound with your lips but the shell magnifies the sound. It tickles at
first and it is not really easy to do. My grandchildren can do it better than
I can.But it is great fun if you are talking to a class of children to have
one with you and blow it. They really remember the horn.
