Trying to weasel (pun intended) one's way out of taking some sort of
resposibility for looking after the only planet we are likely to get
for a good long while, via evoking the theory that much of the earth's
biosphere is severely disrupted every hundred million years or so, is a
bit like saying that we should all sit in front of these overgrown
pocket calculators 24hrs a day and turn our bodies into chair-potatoes,
because there is a 1-in-a-trillion chance that any of us could be
struck by a stray bullet the next time we step outside, so why not eat,
drink and be virtually merry, for tomorrow is a lost cause sooner or
later. Don't kid yourself- quality beats quantity nearly every time,
and Hawaii is not likely to be swallowed by rogue plate tectonics any
time soon.

ecologically-friendly(most of the time, anyway!!) shell dealer.)
