Do what Marlo suggests, and use a small and clear plastic container, about
half a liter size. Empty out after every shell flushing, and one can easily
see what has come out of every shell to determine the amount of fleshy
material expelled from each specimen. If nothing is flushed out, soak in
water for another day or two, and repeat the process.
