Hi all,
and mainly to Chiton experts: I often wonder how a Chiton growths. I mean.
there is a protoconch for Gastropods and a prodissoconch for Bivalvia which
represent the early stage of the shell growth. Is there something similar
for the Chiton development? Is there a "protoplate"?
Regards
Enzo Campani
