Dear Linda;-
What Kay means is that there are many beaches in the US of A that offer great shelling opportunities. I have made a career of South Carolina beaches. Florida, the Gulf coast, up to New Jersey (where I have found my best Ep. rupicola) are great. West coast beaches (restrictions not withstanding) also count. Turn over rocks. Diddle with yer toes. Look up low tides in local papers.
Most importantly: BUY BOOKS ABOUT SHELLS FIRST. Learn about what you are looking for and at.
