Dear List

First I want to thank all of you, who, along these years, have helped me to
identify some of my shells.
Two years ago, I decided to save my collection online, as a copy of
personnal cyberdrawers that I stored here and there, these cyberdrawers
being (to my opinion) the best way to look at my shells without any hazard.
Month after month, I noticed that some people were visiting these pages;
this gave me the idea to build this "database", not only for my own use, sed
etiam as a kind of minicompendium, a graphic tool that could come in
addition to 1: more scientific works (OBIS family, CLEMAM etc.) and 2: other
webpages (personnal, sellers, gastropods.com, kwansei, conchology etc.)
Then, began the great "questions-to-the-list" session, which, I suppose,
will never end. The aim was and is to avoid the most obvious
misenditifications etc.

Today, I can consider this work is completed, and I declare here: it is
open!
But (there is always a but) : the statistics show a lot of holes in the
thousands of links that live in my pages:
code 206 (partial content): 97
code 404 (not found): 1263!!!!!!
to be continued
