Chris - I couldn't agree with you more.  Since I am no expert, and do not
dive to collect shells, I feel the most important part of the collecting
experience is getting connected with reputable dealers who are
knowledgeable and honest about shells. Since many species can run into the
hundreds to thousands of dollars, collectors are depending on dealers
supplying accurate information and authentic shells.
