Many thanks for help on these identities. Cerithidae have not been of much
interest to me before, but now that I'm faced with trying to identify
them, I'm finding it very difficult.

Some keep their outer lip build-up as a varix; others don't.

The second link was to (I now realise) a juvenile Cerithium echinatum.
