Sounds like a browser problem as I just tried typing in a bit of Spanish to
be translated into Goggle and it worked fine.  The reason I like Dicter is
that you just highlight the text, hit control-alt, and get a pop up with the
translation that can read right then and there, or dumped onto your
clipboard if you want to paste it to a hard copy or longer document for some
reason.  It works really fast when searching through a lengthy document for
relevant text.
