Hi all.

  I thought I saw this posted here but a search came up empty-handed.  I
brought back a couple of pen shells from my recent trip to Florida.  What
should I do to prevent them from cracking?  That used to happen to me all
the time when I used to collect down in Texas.  Mineral oil? Glycerol?  Any
other suggestions?
