thanks for the replies!   i have received a copy of the orig.
paper/description, and the differences vs plicatus pulchellus seem to
check out. There do seem to be similar shells from the PI that match
up to hickeyi....at least they lack the columellar blotch and
columellar  plications of S. plicatus pulchellus....
