Google Lirophora clenchi and you will find many references that list it
as a valid West Atlantic species such as Guide to Shelf Invertebrates,
Gulf of Mexico - Perry and Larsen © 2004 among others.

WoRMs lists the source of the synonymy as Coan E.V. & Valentich-Scott P.
(2012) Bivalve seashells of
tropical West America, which you should also consult.
