Thank you very much Maurizio, for fishing up the original article. I
wrote earlier of a shelling trip with several friends who almost went
off the deep end when Oliva were popping up like crazy on the Washington
coast. I know there are plenty of them also, but I still believe that
there is no excuse for taking more livefinds than you need to hold a
spot in your collection. I seem to remember reading that passenger
pigeons used to blacken the sky with their flocks...seemed like there
were enough to last forever...didn't work out that way.
