Thanks, Mike for pulling together an initial list.  As we can all see from
the immediate response on Conch-L, it should rapidly continue to grow.

It seems that such a list of traders (Art, would "specimen exchangers" be
harder for you to work with?) would be more useful if it included what each
individual has to offer and what they are seeking in exchange.  Since Mike
will be out of commision during his move, I would be happy to compile that
information in a form that can be distributed to the list.

Please e-mail your info to me at [log in to unmask] and include your
e-mail address, the type of material you have to trade (please don't send
your exchange list) and what you are looking to receive.  Perhaps it would
also be usefull to describe yourself as either a beginner, novice,
experienced or expert trader.  This helps, in establishing the starting point
for a good trading relationship.

(On the other hand, if you are exchanging fossils and/or land snails, go
ahead and send me your exchange list.)
